ST-70 Surge Tank


Description
The Serva Surge Tank is used to interface between the bulk storage tanks for cement and the cement mixing equipment. The surge tank can reduce surges in bulk material flow and reduce dust at the mixer. To provide the best density control, the tank is highly commended for use with our SERVAacm® mixing system and SERVAacm® cementing equipment. Various sizes are available with the most common size 70CF (2CM).

Key Features

  • Constant pressure valve for control of tank pressure
  • Dust laden air from the tank can be automatically or manually vented through the 6 inch vent line.
  • M/D Totco load cell w/scales for indication of the material weight/level in the tank;
  • Sight glasses for auxiliary cement level indication
  • Easy maintenance fluidizer aerator, to keep it free of material buildup and blockage at bottom of the tank 1 1/2” safety valve mounting on the top of the tank
  • 20” dia. hinged and quick opening manhole; 5” butterfly valve and hoses on cement inlet and outlet line
  • 10” butterfly valve on gravity discharge
    opening
